Azerbaijan Ramstore founded in 1996, is the first investment of Migros Turk T.A.Ş overseas. Xatai (Hatay) which is the first store opened by the company in 1996, is also the first modern supermarket of Azerbaijan. Also the first overseas store of Migros, Xatai, had to stop its services due to a fire damaged the building in June, 2001. After rebuilding and re-opening it, Xatai started to serve the public again in 2002.
Azerbaijan Ramstore, in order to increase its market share, continued to open new stores in different formats between 1996 and 2000, and opened 2 new stores in capital Baku.
As of December 2006, the total capital of the company is 15 million USD and Ramstore QTSC invested 9,2 million USD in Azerbaijan. The total revenues of the company was 11 million USD in 2006.

In the declaration by Migros Türk A.Ş., it was stated that Migros Türk sold its 50% of shares in Ramenka Ltd.- having a total enterprise value of USD 1.365.000.000- to ENKA Holding Investment S.A. for USD 542.500.000 after deducting the company’s net financial debt amount of USD 280.000.000

TThe third affiliate of Migros Turk, Ramstore Kazakhstan, was founded in old capital of Kazakhstan, Alma Ata in 1998. The first store of the company, Samal Shopping Center, opened in May 1999. As previous investments, this shopping center is the first one in the city and serves Alma Ata public with its wide product range which consist of domestic and foreign products, 55 department stores, fast food restaurants, 2 movie theaters and one ice skating ring in 25.000 sqm closed area in total.
In order to increase its market share, Ramstore Kazakhstan, first opened Astana store in a shopping center in new capital Astana, and Tastak store in Alma Ata in 2000. Aynabulak and Atakent stores followed these openings in 2004. Ramstore Kazakhstan received “the Best Shopping Mall and Best Supermarket” award in 2003. Also Mega Center in Alma Ata and Karaganda stores opened in 2006.
The total capital of Ramstore Kazakhstan was 17,3 million USD in 2006. The company’s cumulative investments in Kazakhstan reached 40,2 million USD by the end of 2006 and it generated 70,6 million USD including its Kyrgyzstan operations in 2006.

Ramstore Macedonia started to operate in Skopje, Macedonia as the 5th overseas store in 2005.
Ramstore Mall which opened on 11 June, 2005 in 25.000 sqm closed area, has 91 department stores, cafes and restaurants and 5 movie theaters as well as Ramstore Vardar supermarket.
Ramstore Mall offers services in various areas like banks, chemist stores, children playgrounds, dry cleaning, photo shops in order to meet the requirements of the visitors.
Ramstore Vardar which operates in Ramstore Mall Shopping Center with its 17 cash registers in 2348 sqm net sales area in total, attracted the interest of the public with its best prices from the beginning.
Ramstore Macedonia opened its second store Kalkandelen in Tetova city in November 2006. The company’s total capital is 11,7 million Euro and it generated 17 million USD revenue in 2006.
