Nutrition Facts Label On Food Packaging
Energy and nutrition facts label can be found on almost every food package and contains basic nutritional information about the ingredients of the product. Labels usually take place on the side or at the back of the food package.
On energy and nutrition facts labels; energy and nutrient values are listed in the rows of the label whereas product quantity, % daily values and daily reference values are listed in the columns of the table.

* Daily reference values are based on a 2000 Calorie intake; for adults and children 4 or more years of age.
* Daily requirements may differ with respect to age, sex, height, weight and physical activities.
Energy and nutrition facts label of 1 Lt. Migros Milk is shown in Figure 5 as an example. The first place to start when you look at the label is the serving size of the package. Nutrition facts may be given for 100 grams, 100 milliliters, portion and/or whole package of the product. To compute your daily consumption you should take the serving size into consideration.
For 100 ml;
If your daily milk consumption is 250 ml (approximately 1 glass of milk), then your fat consumption is 7,5 gram (2,5*250 ml) and this amount meets app. %11,5 of your daily requirement.
