Migros Turk T.A.Ş acts with the philosophy “quality is a search for perfection” and therefore aims to provide top level customer satisfaction by setting up a control mechanism at every level starting from supply process to the consumption of the customer.



MİGROS QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM – ISO 9001-2000

Migros, integrated its own Quality Management System which created according to its quality culture and documentation studies based on process analysis which the company maintained for many years, with ISO 9001:2000 standart and therefore qualified for ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System Certificate.

Migros aims to realize the customer satisfaction at top level which always kept in foreground with this system which will achieve contiunity (continuity) and development of Quality Concept.

Migros has chosen ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System Standart as a guide and its next objective is not only meet the conditions of the standart, but also to carry the quality management system further and to perform the applications which will be shown as examples in the sector as usual.

Migros completed ISO 9001-2000 project with competency of its human sources, efficiency of its substructure and its existing quality approach, in a record breaking time as 7 months in 200 seperate points and given a certificate by Turkish Standarts Institute as a result of detailed inspections.

But Migros Turk T.A.Ş is very much aware that Quality Certificate is only a beginning on the road to Quality, and continues to work for ensuring the continuity and development of the system.

Our customers will experience and see that Migros which they always preferred to trust for its quality, works for the development of that quality, in order to prove their customers made the right choice for trusting the Company.

  The work is done for this purpose are as follows;

· Migros Turk T.A.Ş chooses every supplier with great care and supplier firms are inspected periodically by TÜBİTAK-MAM Food Science and Technology Research Institute and also products are subjected to periodic quality control analysis.

· Every new product which will be sold on store shelves is subjected to prelimanary quality control process

· The products which are purchased from Supplier Firms, are subjected to sensory, chemical, physical and microbiological quality control tests by “food engineers” before entering the Migros T.A.Ş warehouses and the products which fail the tests are turned down.

· The products on shelves and warehouses of Migros Turk T.A.Ş are controlled by Veterinary Surgeons regularly and safety of products is ensured.

· Migros Turk T.A.Ş Personnel are trained about hygiene and this way food safety of the products is ensured

· Any kind of complaint from our customers is considered and is solved as quickly as possible.
